You can vacuum the product in the direction of the pile. If it is made of silk, then you cannot vacuum it. Beating is contraindicated for handmade products.

To avoid damaging the pile, do not put sharp furniture legs on the carpet. You can get rid of dents after furniture like this: wet the fabric in water, apply it to the dent, iron it in the direction of the pile.

If the edges of the canvas curl, then you can sew pockets on the back side, place metal plates in them.
